Working Pattern: part time


Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm to 3:15pm Contract type: temporary for 2017-18 academic year Start date : as soon as possible

The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistant to join our school. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic Values-based school and a team with high expectations and standards.


The primary responsibility will be to work alongside a Year 3 child with moderate social, emotional and anxiety issues and some inappropriate behaviours. In addition the successful applicant will support the child at lunch and break times.


The person who is appointed to this post will need to be calm, caring and able to build a warm relationship in a 1:1 situation. Experience of working with pupils with special educational needs and/or with qualifications to NVQ level 2 or 3 in childcare and educational support will be an advantage but are not essential.
